MANNER OF VOTING

Pursuant to Art. XII Sec. 7 of the PICPA Bylaws as amended, notice is hereby given that the PICPA ANNUAL ELECTIONS for NATIONAL DIRECTORS, REGIONAL SECTORAL REPRESENTATIVES and CHAPTER OFFICERS shall be held simultaneously and nationwide on May 16, 2023 (TUESDAY) between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4 P.M.
 

Only members in good standing (MiGS) as of March 15, 2023 can vote. You can vote in three ways: (1) by ballots personally cast; or (2) by proxy; or (3) by voting online in the PICPA OVS or Online Voting System.

1. If voting in person, the member needs only to proceed to the designated voting precinct on the day of the election during voting hours. 

2. If voting by proxy, the member may download the proxy form using this link http://bit.ly/2023PICPAElectionsProxy, or secure a form from the PICPA Chapter Office, or print one that may be received by email from the PICPA office. The member may fill up the proxy form of his/her desired candidates, or he/she may just let the designated representative fill in the candidates' names. In either case, the proxy form must be originally signed by the member. 

 

3. If voting online, the member must register in the PICPA OVS no later than 5PM on May 11, 2023 (Thursday). To know the status of your OVS account and register online, access this link: https://www.picpaelection.com/site-landing/account-inquiry

Deadline for payment of membership dues for FY 2022-2023 and issuance of official receipt thereof for election purposes; 

March 16, 2023 Thu.    
Cut-off date for the National Office to determine who are members in good standing who are qualified to vote.

March 18, 2023 Sat.      
Finalization of the List of Candidates for FY 2023-2024 by the  National COMELEC for submission to the National Board.

March 25, 2023 Sat.    
Determination of the National Board on the list of candidates if the Nominating Committee fails to submit its list to the COMELEC.
