HOW TO SIGN UP FOR FIRST TIME USERS
PICPA ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM

This user guide is prepared for all first time users of the official PICPA online voting system.

WHO CAN SIGN-UP?

All PICPA members who are updated in the payment of their membership dues as of March 15, 2023 are encouraged to sign up to be able to VOTE ONLINE on May 16, 2023.

All CPAs are encouraged to sign up in this portal to verify the status of your membership.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO SIGN-UP?
Only members in good standing (MiGS) as of March 15, 2023 who have signed up in the PICPA ONLINE REGISTRATION PORTAL AS OF 5:00 PM on May 11, 2023 will be allowed to vote online. We strongly suggest that you vote online in order to avoid the hassle of going through the manual voting process.


If you fail to sign up for an online election, you can still cast your vote through manual or proxy voting.
 

WHAT ARE THE THINGS I NEED TO CONSIDER WHEN SIGNING UP?
 

  • Use Personal Email - Please use your personal email account so you will not have problems accessing the site in the future, and preferably using the same email account you used to enroll in PICPA’s Glueup (EventBank). 
     

  • Company Email - For PICPAns using their company email accounts, your activation and other notifications from PICPA's Online Voting System are automatically sent via email by "info@picpaelection.com". Please ask support from your IT team in order to whitelist or allow our resources to the recognized by your systems (i.e. domain, subdomain, IP address, emails, and URLs).   • Check All Email Folders - For google and yahoo users, please look for the activation notice coming from "info@picpaelection.com" in your INBOX, including SPAM, SOCIAL and PROMOTIONS folders, of your registered email account. 
     

  • Activate Account - You need to click on the ACTIVATE button found in the email notice to complete your online registration. NO ACTIVATION, NO ONLINE VOTE.
     

  • Verify Account - Immediately after completion of your sign up in OVS, please make sure to immediately verify your (a) chapter, (b) sector and (b) membership status.

• No chapter - You will not be allowed to change your chapter under the existing guidelines, except for those with no chapter. If your account has no chapter, you will not be allowed to vote.  
• No Sector - You need to select a valid sector for you to enjoy the convenience of online voting. If your account has no sector and you prefer to cast your vote online, you will only be allowed to vote for the Regional Director and Chapter Board.

• Non-MiGS - You can request for an update of membership status if you have settled your membership dues in full on or before March 15, 2023.
 

HOW WILL I KNOW MY OVS ACCOUNT STATUS?

HOW TO SIGN-UP?

The detailed steps are applicable to first time users of OVS whose names are included in the existing membership database. Click this link for more information: activation of PICPA OVS account for first time users.

STEP 1. Access the website @ https://www.picpaelection.info

STEP 2. Click on the green “SIGN UP” buttons that appear upon initial access to the website or located at the upper right section of your computer screen.

 

STEP 3. In the sign up link (https://www.picpaelection.com/member-registration/sign-up), fill out the required information (ie first name, last name, CPA Number and email account) and then press SUBMIT.

Please use your personal email account so you will not have problem accessing the site in the future, preferably the same email account you used to enroll in PICPA’s Glueup (https://picpa.glueup.com/my/home/)


STEP 4. In setting up your password (new or old), make sure to use the password combination that you can easily recall.  The password should contain (a) a capital letter, (b) numbers, and (c) a non alphanumeric symbol such as ! Or *.   Sample: Kim14344!


STEP 5. Check the green “Successfully Registered” message button that  will appear on the upper right section of your computer screen.

STEP 6. Check the INBOX (Primary tab) of your registered email account. Look for the email with the subject “PICPA Online Voting Registration Confirmation. Open the email and you will see this message “COMPLETE YOUR ACCOUNT ACTIVATION”.
 

STEP 7. Click on the red “ACTIVATE” button  to complete your account activation. 


STEP 8. If you can not find the email notification in your INBOX, please check your SPAM, SOCIAL and PROMOTIONS tabs of your registered email account. Similarly, as indicated in step 6 and 7, complete your account activation by clicking on the red “ACTIVATE” button.
 

STEP 9. After clicking the red “ACTIVATE” button, you will be redirected to the log-in portal of the voting system. Then check the green “Account Activation Successful” message button that  will appear on the upper right section of your computer screen. 
 

STEP 10. In the log-in portal, encode your registered email and password (from steps 3 and 4) to access the online voting system for the first time.
